TransportationStandsted Airport Direct flights within Europe into Standsted Airport are operated by: Aegean Air http://www.aegeanair.com/ 1) Transfer by Bus. The coach station is situated in front of the terminal building. Tickets can be purchased from the coach ticket desk in the arrivals area in the terminal arrivals area (06:00 to 01:00) or in the coach station (24 hours a day, seven days a week). Tickets may also be purchased on the coach. Please note that at present the majority of coaches and buses that serve Stansted Airport are not wheelchair accessible. Please contact the specific transport operator should you require further information. National Express provides transportation from Stansted Airport to downtown Cambridge. Please check website for timetables and pricing: http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/index.cfm 2) Transfer by Taxi. For hire taxi cabs are available outside of baggage claim in the arrivals area. Follow signs to the taxi stand. The transfer is approximately 50 minutes from the airport into downtown Cambridge. 3) Transfer to Standsted Airport. Stansted Express is the fast and convenient way to Stansted Airport from central London (London Liverpool Street), with trains departing every 15 minutes with an average journey time of 45 minutes. Trains now operate early morning and late at night. For the latest information and timetables, please visit www.stanstedexpress.com. Heathrow Airport Heathrow Airport is 15 miles from central London. Flying to over 180 destinations in over 90 countries, some 90 airlines have made Heathrow their base. 1) Transfer by Bus. Heathrow central bus station is between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. It is a few minutes' walk from the terminals via underground walkways. The bus station is open 24 hours a day, and the travel centre opens from 06:00 to 22:30. Baggage trolleys are provided. 2) Transfer by Taxi/Train. London licensed taxis stop at the taxi ranks outside each Heathrow terminal. The journey to central London costs between £40 and £70 and takes between 30 minutes and one hour. Journeys which are both inside London and within 20 miles of the airport are priced using the taxi meter. 3) Transfer by Tube (to London). Heathrow has three London Underground stations – one for Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and one each at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5.
